MOBOs 2011 with Professor Green and Emeli Sande

On the 5th October we were absolutely delighted to be invited to perform with Professor Green and Emili Sande at the 2011 MOBO Awards at the SECC Glasgow. Having never been part of such a large production before, we were incredibly excited to experience the organization and behind the scenes action at such an event.

After a full rehearsal the day before with the performers, we arrived early afternoon on the day for a dress rehearsal, and then hair and make-up. We were delighted to be having our hair and make up done by Emeli Sande’s make-up artist Kate, from whom we got lots of hints and tips to take away. The theme of 50s was decided, and our hair was put up into some extrodianary sculptures we didn’t think possible.

After a backstage massage, a delicious dinner, and lets be honest, a fair amount of celeb spotting, it was time to take to the stage. Perched on our giant gold glittery podium, we played our socks off, and was an absolutely amazing experience we will never forget!
